Stand with Ashton.
Stand with trans youth in Louisiana.
Ashton, age 17, is a senior at a public high school in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. He takes AP classes, maintains a 4.4 GPA, and was voted Team Captain of the boys' lacrosse team. He works hard, has earned the respect of his classmates and teachers, and dreams of serving as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
But things haven't always been easy. Ashton is a transgender boy, and anti-trans policies stand in the way of him achieving his dreams. Today, he is sharing his truth with Louisiana lawmakers and his community and standing up against House Bill 466 and Senate Bill 172.
